Camp David: The gift that keeps on giving

To whoever is reading this,

I'm here to tell you a little (or a lot) about what I've experienced at Camp David since it's inception.

Let's thow it back to the first ever Camp David I attended in 2019.

To be honest, I was quite young and curious. I had heard a lot about "God" from so many people, but I didn't know him. I wanted to experience God for myself.

I had the best time at Camp. I met so many teens like me who were hungry for God, while also having a fun-filled week! For the first time in a while, I felt that was where I needed to be. It felt like home.

I had people pray for me. I started speaking in tongues while on camp. I poured my heart out to God. I realized there were so many things I bottled up for years and had to let out.

I can't explain what I felt for real, YOU JUST HAD TO BE THERE!!

Fast forward to Camp David 2021. I heard God for the very first time! I heard His voice so clearly that I was taken aback for a minute. If there was ever a shadow of doubt that someone was watching over me, it left at Camp David 2021. A certainty of God's love was birthed in me. I realized that He always listens to me and knows what's best for me. I loved the fact that I got an opportunity to know him deeper. I fell in love with Him all over again.

And then CAMP DAVID 2022. MY YEAR OF REST.

I felt at peace with God. That "peace that surpasses your understanding"? Yeah, I felt that.

I got several messages that have kept me going and words that I'm still clinging to.

I've had the most unforgettable experiences at Camp and I hope you can too.
